Who runs this
I'm a Bluegreen Vacation Club owner. I bought in years ago, made most of the expensive mistakes personally, and spent an unreasonable amount of time since then learning how the points system, the seasons charts, the fees, and the upgrade pitches actually work. Bluegreen Insider Pro is where I publish what I've learned, plus the calculators and planning tools I originally built for my own trips.
This site is independent
I am not an employee, agent, representative, or licensee of Bluegreen Vacations, Hilton Grand Vacations, RCI, or any other timeshare developer or exchange company. Nobody at any of those companies reviews, approves, or pays for what appears here. Everything on this site is my own commentary, analysis, and opinion, based on publicly available program information and my own experience as an owner.
I take no money from any developer
No developer commissions. No referral fees from a sales floor. No sponsored posts from a resort company. The site is funded directly by owners through optional subscriptions and paid services, which is exactly why I can tell you when an upgrade is a bad deal. If that ever changes, I'll disclose it plainly on this page before anything else.
Why it exists
Most of what owners are told about their ownership comes from someone who earns a commission on the answer. There is very little neutral math available: what a point is really worth, what an upgrade actually costs once financing is included, when an exchange beats booking direct. This site is my attempt to publish that math openly, show the assumptions, and let you decide for yourself. I'd rather be useful than flattering.
